If an item is damaged in shipping we will have it repaired.
The damages must be reported to us within
24 hours of receiving the furniture.
The damage should be documented if possible on the bill of lading while the shipper is still at
your home. Antiques will normally
be repaired by Furniture Medic at www.furnituremedic.com
If the damage is minimal we will have your local repair company repair the item
and if an item
cannot be repaired or replaced
we refund your order in full. If you receive an incorrect item we will correct your order. Refunds
and credit card reversals are
not given for damaged furniture or for orders that were received incorrectly while the
replacement is being prepared or the repair
process is underway. We do not refund the shipping charges if you decide to cancel an order due
to damages or any other problem.
Furniture Delivery Costs: Antiques require special handling and we must ship using specialty furniture carriers called "White Glove Delivery Companies". These companies carry the furniture into your home and set it where you want.When you place your order we only charge a 1/3 deposit to hold the item/s until shipped. A "Furniture Item" is defined as any item too large for UPS shipping. Here are the white glove delivery costs to any of the 48 CONUS states:

5. Methods of Shipping and Other Shipping Details
We use "white glove" carry in delivery services for most areas of the USA.
For furniture orders that will not ship immediately due to still being in China we only charge a 1/3 deposit until your furniture ships and then we charge the balance due.
Once the furniture is shipped we provide you the details for your shipper and you will be able to communicate directly with them. If you have problems with the shipper please let us know and we will try to assist you. Delivery schedules and other issues are outside of our direct control and cancelling an order for a refund due to a shipping problem or delay is not under our control and therefore not an option.
